Saint-Hyacinthe Produces and Uses Natural Gas
The city of Saint-Hyacinthe is the first municipality to recover organic materials via biomethanization and to use the natural gas produced to meet its energy needs. The surplus will be injected into the distribution network of Gaz Metro. The city also is the first municipality to have selected natural gas to fuel its municipal vehicles. For more info
