Écotech Québec signs a framework agreement for the deployment of a circular economy on Reunion Island
On March 7, as part of the 20th Alternating Meeting of the Prime Ministers of France and Quebec, a framework agreement was ratified by Écotech Québec and the Regional Council of Reunion. This agreement aims to accelerate the establishment of a circular economy on Reunion Island. Press realease

Carbon system legislative proposal
The federal government proposed a regulatory framework for provinces that do not have their own carbon pricing system. The carbon price would be set at $ 10 per tonne initially, then would increase by $ 10 a tonne every year to reach $ 50 a tonne by 2022. The public has until February 12 to comment on this proposal.
