    Dundee Sustainable Technologies Inc. offers proprietary metallurgical processes for the treatment of material from the mining industry.
    The mining industry is facing a growing pressure to improve its current practices and to develop new and improved processes to reduce environmental liabilities. Mining jurisdictions around the world have banned or restricted the use of cyanide and deposits are becoming more complex, containing higher levels of contaminants such as arsenic.
    DST provides environmentally-friendly, viable and efficient processes, capable of handling complex and refractory ores which cannot be processed with conventional approaches due to metallurgical issues or environmental considerations.

    Value proposition
    Cyanide-free gold extraction process:
    - Uses sodium hypochlorite in acidic conditions to put the gold into solution;
    - Contact time is short (1-2 hours);
    - Process operates in a closed loop;
    - Tailings are inert, sulfide depleted and non-acid generating;
    - Excellent gold recoveries within a fraction of the time needed for cyanidation to obtain similar results;
    - Treats of refractory ores (Py, Aspy, Tellurium, organic carbon);
    - Handles and recovers base metals (Cu, Zn);
    DST has developed a new process for the stabilization of the arsenic often associated with copper, gold, silver or cobalt deposits. The approach is to incorporate arsenic into a highly stable glass matrix.
    - Costs are much lower than conventional approaches, such as the formation of scorodite;
    - Produces a stable, insoluble glass which meets or exceeds the requirements of the TCLP, or EPA’s method 1311;
    - Can encapsulate up to 20% arsenic in the glass.
    Certification from Environment Canada, through the Canadian Environmental Technology Verification Program (“ETV”), an independent certification of the performance of its cyanide-free gold extraction process (2016).
