Rendez-Vous Québec + European Union

In order to mark the provisional entry into force of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement with Europe on September 21, Écotech Québec will organize a Rendez-Vous Québec + European Union on September 11. Discover the benefits and opportunities specific to the clean technology sector!

Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA):

What are the benefits for clean technology companies?

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 2017, FROM 3 PM TO 7 PM

Espace CDPQ - 3 Place Ville Marie, room 12350, Montreal

Registration below

With the recent confirmation of the provisional entry into force of the CETA, all duties imposed by the European Union (EU) on Canadian clean technology products will be eliminated, placing our exporters on an equal footing with their EU competitors. The Agreement will also allow for improved labour mobility, expanded access to EU government procurement opportunities and eligibility to test products for European conformity in Canadian facilities.

The Rendez-Vous Québec + European Union offers:

  • Workshops with experts to demystify CETA and introduce new opportunities in the European Union
  • A reception with government and EU representatives
  • Testimonials from clean technology entrepreneurs
  • Networking with potential partners and facilitators
